Aggressive Combat Championships 17 came live to FloCombat Saturday, Nov. 11, bringing nothing but action with it. Here's what happened.
Carlos Rodriguez was seconds away from winning a decision at Aggressive Combat Championships 17 Saturday, Nov. 11.
Then Daniel Rodriguez submitted him.
Moments after being badly rocked and nearly finished in the night's main event, Daniel swiveled for an armbar, locking in the submission perfectly and capping off an amazing comeback. For his efforts, Daniel took home the ACC bantamweight title, becoming the fifth new champion on the evening.
In the night's co-main event, Raymond Ceballos and Jamal Pottinger threw down for ACC welterweight gold. Pottinger came out fast and ferocious, throwing a spinning kick and a flurry of punches against the fence, but Ceballos stayed composed and scored a takedown.
From there, it was elementary for Ceballos, who quickly advanced to mount and pounded out his foe with punches and elbows. The early storm was a strong one, but Ceballos weathered it, and now his trophy case shines a little brighter.
In all, fans were treated to eight slick finishes and five title fights on the evening, making this an event to remember.
