Saturday, Oct. 6, Lion Fight 47 streamed live on FloCombat with undefeated cruiserweight champion Chip Moraza-Pollard defending his title against Remy Vectol of France.

In the co-main event, Richmond's Michael Lawrence made his pro debut against Julian Nguyen in a welterweight bout.

Other bouts on the main card included a cruiserweight matchup between Cole Fetzner and Samlullah Ahmady, and a heavyweight scrap between Lewis Rumsey and Doug Holland.

The main card kicked off with an amateur bout between Ahria Sorbi and Miguel Cadiz in the middleweight division.

In the main event, both men began the bout by exchanging heavy leg kicks and fighting from a distance. As the round went on, Moraza-Pollard began opening up with his combinations and was able to keep Vectol off balance. Vectol began attempting to work from the clinch in the middle rounds of the fight, but Moraza-Pollard proved to be the superior technician and was consistently finding a home for his strikes. Moraza-Pollard was able to keep up his high pace, before buckling Vectol with a devastating low kick in Round 4.

Vectol was unable to return to his feet following the low kick and the referee stepped in to call an end to the fight as Moraza-Pollard retained his title.
