On Jan. 6th, Reality Fighting made it’s return to Connecticut after six months and they clearly made it worth the wait. Here’s how it all went down on FloCombat.

In the main event of the evening, New England mainstay Parker Porter took home the gold. After more than 2 years out of the cage, the Bellator veteran picked up a stoppage win over J.A. Dudley in front of his home crowd. After controlling the better part of 3 rounds, Porter got in close and finished the fight with some mean right hands from the clinch.

But the action wasn’t limited to the main event. The co-main event featured highly-touted, undefeated amatuer prospect Jesse James Kosakowski. The 21 year old stepped into the cage for the first time as a professional and he did not disappoint. A creative second round americana from scarf hold got the tap from his opponent Hugh McKenna.

Two amateur titles were also at stake on the card. In the flyweight title fight, Tim Flores picked up a close decision win over Harris Bonfiglio. The later contest saw Matt Bienia come from behind and a 3rd round armbar to steal the victory.

All-in-all the card produced 8 finishes in just 9 fights. 3 submissions and 5 TKOs made it a night of fights that was well worth the price of admission.
