Lion Fight 41 brought three title fights and plenty of ruckus Saturday, April 7.

After a whirlwind of a week in the combat sports world, live action returned to the ring on Saturday live on FloCombat with Muay Thai Grand Prix Pesents Lion Fight 41.

The event took place at the Indigo at the O2 Arena in London.

Lion Fight 41 featured three title fights, including Dan Edwards vs. Adrian Garlonta for the MTGP World Light Heavyweight Title, Saemapetch Fairtex vs. Charlie Peters for MTGP World Welterweight Title, and Marley Zwanenberg vs. James Benal for the MTGP World Super Middleweight title.

Fairtex had one of the most impressive performances of the night, scoring a vicious knockout victory in the co-main event to claim the MTGP World Welterweight Title. Up-and-comer George Jarvis also showed his full potential earlier in the night.

In the main event, James Benal and Marley Zwanenberg went toe-to-toe for the inaugural MTGP World Super Middleweight Title in the main event.

Zwanenberg immediately took a calm approach to the main event, but Benal was firing off the low leg kicks to keep his opponent off balance. Zwanenberg found his home in the clinch and was able to dictate the pace through the first half of the fight as Benal searched for an answer. Zwanenberg landed a huge head kick at the end of Round 3, but Benal was saved by the bell. Zwanenberg was able to keep the pressure on throughout the closing two rounds, leaving Benal bloodied and battered at the final bell.
