Jason Faglier Jr. came to Conflict MMA 45 with a point to prove and family pride on the line. The “Fighting Fagliers” are a combat sports institution in August, Ga., and Jason Jr has built a solid buzz around his profile.

That said, back-to-back rough showings had Faglier feeling the heat coming into Saturday night, and he desperately needed to turn things around in against a tough prospect in James Dunn. While Dunn was making his pro debut at the event, and Faglier had to jump up a weight class from his normal bantamweight fold, the Faglier Kempo representative found a path to victory by of the grind.

Granted, the debutant was able to do some damage with a mean barrage of elbows while Faglier worked for the single, but ultimately wasn't able to stop the more experienced fighter from putting him on the canvas.

Faglier rebounded late to take the fight on the judges' decision and break a two-fight skid.
