KOP 57
Lee Siersma and Erick Lozano step in to settle their rivalry in a trilogy fight at KOP 57.
Many feuds throughout history have ended with violence and the rivalry between Lee Siersma and Erick Lozano added another notch in that column on Saturday night.

“The Lumberjack” and the gritty veteran squared off for the third time inside the cage with each man promising an epic battle--and victory--in the lead up to their trilogy fight at KOP 57. In fitting fashion the bout took place on the deck of a military warship as USS LST 393, which set the perfect stage for the artillery to fly.

Siersma took their inaugural meeting at KOP 51 last November and Lozano returned the favor four months later at KOP 54. Saturday night brought about the final time they would step inside the cage and it was Lozano who answered the call with fury.

Lozano came out strong but lost steam when Siersma employed his grappling skills and took the fight to the ground. Siersma finished out the opening round on the canvas and seemed to be in control early in the second frame. Nevertheless, Lozano regained his footing and unloaded a flurry of shots that finished with a huge left hand from Lozano dropping Siersma to the canvas cold. It was a brutal knockout and an epic way to end the trilogy.

It was a night filled with finishes with rising prospect Coty Lopez bringing the ruckus full steam. Unfortunately the finishing blow came of the illegal variety but it was one brutal knockout regardless.
