Valor Fights 59: Seventeen Kickass Bouts Set For Saturday Night Thriller

Tonight, Valor Fights 59 kicks off at 6pmET airing live and exclusively on FloCombat. The event takes place at Smokies Stadium in Kodak, Tennessee.

What's better than cagefighting at a baseball stadium?!

The uberly stacked evening features 17 fights (yes, 17, you read that correctly) of exciting MMA action, including a fire-fight main event.

In the evening’s headliner, top undefeated prospect David Robins faces off with a very tough Tennessean James Conway.

A product of American Killer Bees of Cleveland, Robins has ended all three of his professional bouts in swift fashion. In his last outing at Valor Fights 57, Robins ended Jason Wolf’s night in 2:25 of the very first round via strikes.

Conway, 24, is a tough outing for any 170 pounders. The Warrior’s Den product will look to rebound from a loss to Bellator MMA veteran Cody Jones back in April at Rumble on the River 2.

The co-main event features a women’s 150-pound catchweight bout between Taryn Conklin and Olivia Parker.

Renowned as one of the top amateur fighters in the area, Wisconsin’s Conklin will look to begin her ascent up the professional ranks. Going 3-1 as an amateur, Conklin is coming off a loss suffered to Leah McCourt in the 2016 IMMAF World Championships.

Tennessee’s Parker has been unstoppable in her UFC tenure to date. After winning all five of her amateur bouts, Parker burst onto the professional scene in January, defeating Jennifer Morgan by unanimous decision.

Also on the card, exciting Lima brothers protege, Cody Durden returns to action. The nine-fight American Top Team Atlanta member will look to extend his MMA win-streak to four against six-fight veteran Jeremy Rogers.

Wait, Kali Robbins Likes Unfrosted Pop Tarts?

Everyone loves a good nickname origin story. Whether it comes from working at Subway or a fighter’s uncanny resemblance to a popular TV figure, a good unique nickname always trumps the standard-issued "Pitbull" or "Hitman."

Fight Of The Night Magnet Frank Camacho Admits 'I Hate Confrontation'

Frank Camacho holds the distinction of being just one of three fighters to start their UFC career with three straight Fight of the Night bonuses. Justin Gaethje and Yoshihiro Akiyama are the others. It seems like every fight Camacho's in becomes a knock-em-down, drag-em-out brawl. But according to Camacho, that is not necessarily by design.
