AKA Rite of Passage 7: Former Legacy FC Title Contender Tony Kelley Returns

They’re back! For the first time in seven months, American Kombat Alliance is back! And folks, the Louisiana-based promotion is pulling out all the stops with this one.

Rite of Passage 7 takes place this Friday night at the Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City, Louisiana. The action will kick off at 6pmET, with FloCombat streaming the event live and exclusively in its entirety.

The night’s main event marks the return of surging featherweight prospect Tony Kelley. The 32-year-old Louisianian has not competed since July of 2016 when he headlined Legacy FC 57.

While “PrimeTime” lost a close split decision to eventual UFC featherweight Kevin Aguilar, Kelley proved he could hold more than his own against top-tier talent.

Looking to crash Kelley’s return part Friday night is Rosepine, Louisiana’s Andy Brossett. The seven-fight professional veteran is a tough outing for any fighter, never mind one coming off of a three year layoff. Brossett holds wins over Kassidy Owens and David Nelson--both of whom he finished in the first round.

Before Kelley and Brossett throw down, a thrilling co-main event graces the AKA cage. Steve “The Average” Jones will look to rebound from a loss in his LFA when he takes on Joseph “Ugly Man” Jones.

Bragging rights isn’t the only things up for grabs. The winner will walk away with the AKA 170-pound title.

Rounding out the professional portion of the card, heavyweights collide as Michael Stahl faces Cory Roscoe Johnson.

The amateur undercard is topped by a trio of title fights. Jacob Charles and Don Doyle meet for the 155-pound strap, while Josh Thompson and Michael Manno square off for the welterweight championship. The heavyweight title is also on the line, as CJ Baker takes on Hunter Jones.

The entire AKA: Rite of Passage 7 card is as follows (airing on FloCombat, 6pmET):
