A middleweight matchup between Karl Roberson and John Phillips is the latest fight to be added to the UFC's return to Sacramento, multiple sources confirm to FloCombat.

The pair of 185-pound finishers are expected to collide on the July 13 ESPN+ fight night card in northern California.

A signee from of season 1 of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series, New Jersey's Roberson has split his bouts with the promotion, going 2-2 in his four fights to date.

In his last outing, Roberson took a short-notice bout against Glover Teixeira at 205 pounds. After nearly finishing Teixeira with strikes in rapid fashion, the 28-year-old Roberson was submitted minutes later.

Phillips, 33, is still seeking his first UFC win heading into his fourth bout with the promotion. The Welshman was submitted in his first two UFC outings, before losing a controversial split decision to Jack Marshman at UFC London in March.

While the promotion has not officially announced the event yet, Brazilian outlet Combate has previously reported two other bouts for the card: Beneil Dariush vs. Drakkar Klose and Cezar Ferreira vs. Marvin Vettori.
