With Gokhan Saki out of UFC Fight Night 147 in London, the promotion has found a replacement to square off with Saparbeg Safarov at the March 16 event.

Nick Negumereanu (9-0) will step into the Octagon for the first time to test his skills against Safarov's, sources tell FloCombat.

The Romanian light heavyweight Negumereanu has ripped through the competition on the regional scene, finishing all nine opponents placed in his way.

Russia’s Safarov is a tough outing for all opposition, never mind a UFC newcomer, however. After losing a gritty “Fight of the Night” to Gian Villante in his UFC debut, Safarov nearly finished Tyson Pedro in his sophomore UFC appearance.
