Samurai PRP Player Of The Week: Tesimoni Tongauiha
Our latest Pacific Rugby Premiership Player Of The Week
Life West thundered past OBAC and flanker Tesimoni Tongauiha was in the middle of it all.
“He was hurt most of last year and he has worked really hard to come back,” said captain Devereaux Ferris. “So wee him get around the park the way we did and the difference he made, he’s a great asset to have.”
Tongauiha adds an extra dimension of speed and athleticism to the Life West pack. His size - height and power - make the blindside flanker more like an extra No. 8 on the field.
And as you see in the highlight, he showed some soft hands, and a solid work rate in the #6 jersey.
Tesimoni Tongauiha is our Samurai PRP Player Of The Week for Round 2.
