Henson is one of the most decorated wrestlers in U.S. history. He earned the title of world champion in 1998 and became an Olympic silver medalist at the 2000 Sydney Games.

Henson now steps into the broadcast booth as color commentator for Shamrock Fighting Championships alongside play-by-play commentator Jeremy Johnson.

Shamrock FC President Jesse Finney says he's thrilled to have someone with Henson's credentials join the team.

“Any time you get a chance to add an Olympian and a world champion to your team, you have to jump on it," Finney said.

Henson will be split time in the booth with boxing and MMA veteran Kevin Engel, as Engel continues his coaching duties with his own gym and stable of fighters.
