A featherweight scrap between New England's Kyle Bochniak and Canada's Hakeem Dawodu is being targeted for Dec. 8's UFC 231 event in Toronto, sources tell FloCombat.

Coming off his first UFC victory, Dawodu looks to make it two in a row in his home country. After losing his highly anticipated debut to Dan Henry earlier this year, Dawodu defeated Austin Arnett in Calgary earlier this summer.

Meanwhile, his opponent, Bochniak, flew somewhat under the radar prior to his UFC 223 bout in April against the highly touted Zabit Magomedsharipov.

A heavy underdog, Bochniak took the Russian the distance in a “Fight of the Year” candidate.

Prior to his loss to Magomedsharipov, Bochniak tallied wins over Brandon Davis and Enrique Barzola and losses to Jeremy Kennedy and Charles Rosa.
