Youth meets experience in the evening’s main event, as undefeated prospect Johnny Eblen takes on Bellator MMA veteran Wayman Carter. 

Just two fights into his professional career, Kansas City’s Eblen is already turning heads. His first two bouts have only lasted a combined 3:22, with Eblen scoring two knockouts in that time.

At age 40, his opponent, Topeka’s Carter, has been around the block. Having competed for Bellator, LFA, Titan FC, and RFA, Carter is used to major regional scene opportunities. In his most recent outing at LFA 34, Carter was defeated by Contender Series veteran Alton Cunningham.

In the co-main event, welterweights will collide. The UFC is always in need of young talent—and with a win on Saturday night, Ivey Nixon and Montrel James are hoping to inch one step closer to entering the promotion’s radar.

The Kansan Nixon always comes to finish fights. He's only gone the distance once as a professional and never saw the final bell as an amateur. In his most recent outing,earlier this year, Nixon lost to LFA’s Kassius Kanye.

In the bout against Nixon, “Too Cold” James will look to halt a two-fight losing streak. In his last outing, the 6’0” lightweight squared off against Contender Series standout Mike Davis. Unfortunately for James, Davis defeated James via first-round knockout.

Before the final four fighters take the Shamrock FC cage, the lightweight title will be on the line, as young guns Thomas Thatcher and Craig Fairley have their eyes on the prize: championship gold. 

Neither man has gone to the decision in his professional career, so don’t expect that to change Saturday night.
