Max Holloway has stamped his place as one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in all of mixed martial arts, and has done so by steamrolling his competition in technically violent fashion.

Holloway's current 12-fight winning streak has "The Blessed Era" rolling strong into 2018 as the 26-year-old has appeared damn near unstoppable inside the cage. And while the reigning 145-pound king has business to handle in the form of Frankie Edgar at UFC 222 on March 3 in Las Vegas, that hasn't stopped Holloway from keeping an eye on other high-profile scraps that could potentially materialize on the horizon.

One fighter Holloway would love to step into the Octagon with is lightweight smashing machine Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Much the way Holloway has looked invincible under the bright lights, "The Eagle" has appeared the same. The Dagestan native has dispatched all 25 men he's faced as a professional, and is not a fighter too many on the UFC roster are eagerly lining up to face.

That said, Holloway isn't most fighters, and recently told TMZ Sports he'd be down to throw hands with the Russian powerhouse.

"That’s the kind of guy you want to fight to cement your legacy," Max said. "If you wanna be the best you gotta beat the best."
