Watch: Raphael Assuncao Scores Vicious KO At UFC Norfolk

Raphael Assuncao scored his 10th victory in 11 bouts Saturday night with a spectacular finish of Matthew Lopez on the main card of UFC Fight Night 120 in Norfolk, Virginia.

Assuncao came out of the gate firing away devastating leg kicks which left Lopez’s leg in shambles after the very first round.

After chopping Lopez down throughout the first two rounds of the bout, Assuncao attempted a flying knee that narrowly missed before the Brazilian uncorked a vicious right hand on the button that sent Lopez crumbling to the mat.

Assuncao, whose lone loss in his past 11 fights comes courtesy of bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw, advances his record to 26-5.

Following the emphatic win, Assuncao used his mic time to call out the champion for a rubber match.

In their first meeting back in 2013, Assuncao came away with a split-decision victory. He dropped the rematch via unanimous decision. Now, he’s hoping for another shot at Dillashaw, this time with the belt on the line.
