Championship gold and pride are on the line when Brandon Medina and Bryant Estrada step in to clash in the co-main event at Aggressive Combat 17 on Saturday. The event takes place at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, New York, and streams live on FloCombat at 7:30 PM EST.

Medina (3-1) enters the fight as the No. 11-ranked flyweight in the state of New York and has won all but one of his showings inside the cage. The East Coast United BJJ product jumped out to a hot start in his career, winning three straight before dropping a decision loss in his most recent showing against Ron Leon. That said, the tilt with Leon took place in April 2016, and Medina will be facing potential ring rust in addition to Estrada inside the cage.

On the flip, Estrada has remained active in 2017 and has won back-to-back showings inside the calendar year. In fact, Estrada’s most recent loss came to Estrada’s twin brother, Christian, when they squared off at Aggressive Combat 6 back in 2014.

Estrada will enter the cage on Saturday night looking to not only secure championship gold but also even the score with the fighting Medina brothers in the process. Medina will be looking to get his hands on the flyweight strap in his own right and stamp his return to competition with a notch in the win column.

Aggressive Combat 17 also features a collection of up-and-coming talent and debutants in addition to three other championship tilts on the night.
