3 Reasons To Watch WFF 34 On FloCombat
World Fighting Federation returns to FloCombat this Saturday night and the promotion is pulling out the big guns at the Wild Horse Pass Casino in Chandler, AZ. An action-packed night of fights can only been seen on FC and here are three reasons why you won't want to miss the all the savagery hitting the Southwest this weekend.

A Scrap to Show and Prove

One of the most pivotal bouts on Saturday night's card comes in a cross-regional showdown between Matt Betzold and Cleveland McLean. Betzold has received some national attention for the bravery and courage shown by fighting despite with only one leg, and endured battles against athletic commissions who attempted to prevent him from competing. Betzold will bring an 8-8 record into his showdown with McLean at WFF 34 in a fight that has the potential to push him toward larger stages with a victory.

McLean is facing a similar opportunity at WFF 34. The North Carolina native has found mixed results inside the cage and a strong performance would certainly bring a stride toward solidifying his name in the sport. McLean is coming off a win in his most recent showing against DaMarcus Holmes back in January, and victory over Betzold would produce some serious momentum for the up-and-coming flyweight.

The Return of Shannon Ritch

When it comes to experience in the fight game there are few who have notches on his or her belt that can compare to Shannon Ritch. The Arizona native is the walking breathing definition of the word "veteran" with 141 professional bouts to his credit, and could potentially run up over the 200 mark citing numerous fights in unsanctioned locations. Ritch has competed on stages around the globe too massive to list, but has clocked time under recognizable banners the likes of King of the Cage and the now defunct Pride promotion in Japan.

While Ritch will be coming off a lengthy stint away from MMA on Saturday night, he's still been active in combat sports in the interim. "The Cannon" has been active on the bare-knuckle boxing scene for years and has made a name for himself in that realm as well. Ritch will don the four-ounce gloves once more on Saturday night, and that comes with a guarantee of full-throttle chaos from start to finish.

A Bout for Bantamweight Gold

A championship strap will be on the line when Glen Baker and Ed West step in to handle their business at WFF 34 on Saturday night.

"Bad Boy" Baker will come into the tilt on the strength of back-to-back wins under the WFF banner and will be looking to put a name on his resume against West. The up-and-coming MMA Lab-trained talent has shown solid progression in his three fights as a pro, but is yet to step in against a fighter with solid experience. Ed "Wild" West, and the 32 fights to his credit will look to change all of that, and having championship gold hanging in the balance makes his next fight the biggest and most appealing of his career.

And while West may be the more experienced of the two, he's also carrying more momentum in the equation as well. The 33-year-old Arizona native has notched three-straight victories leading into his bout against Baker at WFF 34, and a potential fourth could serve the veteran well in several areas.

The biggest of which being the end of a long layoff and a solid win over a scrappy opponent.
