Bellator veterans collide at EFC 5 in Mulvane

Middleweight prospect Chris Harris looks to rebound from the first loss of his career when he takes on Kyle Kurtz in the main event EFC 5: Battle for Blood in Mulvane, KS. Harris (8-1) heads into this matchup off a unanimous decision setback to Jordan Young at Bellator 171 in January.

The 27-year-old boasts seven of his eight career wins by stoppage, including five victories by knockout. Kurtz (7-4) has fought the likes of UFC veteran Bobby Voelker and holds a win over TUF 17's Adam Cella. "The Hurtz" looks to avoid back-to-back losses for the first time in his career and has never gone the distance in 11-professional bouts. Another fighter to keep an eye on for this card is 30-fight veteran Joe Wilk, who not only is a commentator for Victory FC but is competing for the first time since September 2015.

Webber inspirational story continues Warrior Nation Fight Series 45

The Eric City Fairgrounds plays host to Warrior Nation Fight Series 45 Saturday and featured on the card is middleweight Richie Webber who looks to go 4-1 against Andre White.

Webber (3-1 AM) was featured on FloCombat last year prior to his fight against Matt Sieger and told the story of how he was a former heroin addict who got clean thanks to MMA. Webber is also the founder of "Fight for Recovery" a non-profit support group for people recovering from heroin addiction. The 25-year-old takes on White, who earned the first win of his career in his last fight after he knocked out Stephen Simkus in just seven seconds at Warrior Nation Fight Series 42 this past October.

Oregon's longest running promotion returns Saturday

Get a glimpse into the future of MMA in Oregon as FCFF: Rumble at the Roseland 92 emanates from the Roseland Theater in Portland. The main event features a heavyweight title fight pitting Rico Martinez against Jared Matthews. Martinez (17-3- NC) hasn't lost a fight since 2011 and heads into this rematch on a six-fight win streak. The 30-year-old competes for the first time since March 2015.

Matthews (0-4 AM) looks for the first win of his short career and look to avenge his 2010 loss to Martinez at Budofights.
