Michael Page may not have gotten what he wanted for the May 19 Bellator London card, but he's far from given up his pursuit for a fight with fellow Brit, Paul Daley. 

Speaking this past weekend at the Bellator 173 card in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Page addressed Daley's claims that he wasn't experienced to take a fight with him. Suffice to say, Page didn't exactly agree with him and said that there was only one real reason why Daley didn't expect the fight offer.

"That's bulls*it, that is so much bulls*it" Page said. "He said he doesn't want to fight me because he doesn't think I'm experienced enough, but take a look at some of his opponents before--he wasn't questioning them. 

"It had nothing to do with me not being experienced--it had a lot to do with fear. He doesn't want to fight me right now and I understand it."

Daley was asked earlier in the evening during his own media scrum whether he and Page had ever been friends After Daley confirmed that they had been, Page also agreed that they were, but that they were anything but friends now. 

"The whole reason I'm annoyed at him is because in my head we were friends," Page said. "We were cool and cordial. Any time anyone asked me about Paul I'd show nothing but respect, so when I heard something on the other side it was one, a bit embarrassing for me, and two, I felt like a bit of an idiot because someone you're calling a friend is telling people you're this and you're that.

"I just felt disrespected and the best way to settle it, is in the cage. I don't have any advice for him--fight me, that's the only advice I got for him. If you class yourself as that better name, we will see what happens."

Having been denied a fight with Daley on May 19, it was confirmed shortly after that Page would fight Derek Anderson instead. Page detailed how he ended up accepting the fight and the lack of thought or attention he gave the contract when it was sent his way.

"I kid you not, my coach gave me the paper and I said 'I don't care' and I just signed it and gave it back to him," Page said. "I heard the announcement came out and I saw who it was, it doesn't bother me. It's not who I wanted, but it's another fight I'm going to put on a show anyway."

With his name now inked to fight Anderson, Page is thinking about one thing and one thing only--stealing the show in London and making sure he's the one everyone is talking about when they leave the show that night.   

"I'm just going to do what I do man," Page said. "Every time I go in there, I step in the cage, it's a problem. You know what it is? It's that home crowd for me, especially last year it helped me and this year it's going to be even crazier. People will be expecting me to be doing some crazy stuff and I'm going to be training hard."
