After picking up the biggest win of his career against Donald Cerrone this past weekend, Jorge Masvidal has broken into the top 5 of the UFC welterweight rankings and has his sights set on the top of the division.

Having now put together three consecutive wins, Masvidal looks to capitalize on both his momentum and his ever-growing popularity with the fan, and he has just two things in mind--big money and big fights. Speaking with Luke Thomas on his SiriusXM  radio show yesterday, Masvidal detailed exactly who he wanted next in the Octagon.

"It feels good, I knew this was exactly what was going to happen, it's exactly what I said [would] happen," Masvidal said, speaking about his current form. "It's not a shock to me or my team. We all knew what I could do. I'm just going to keep on moving forward, man. I'm hungry, Donald is in the past already [and] I'm trying to get a big fight.

"Maia already turned down the fight. I don't know who is going to step up, you know? That's who I wanted--Maia--but if I can't have Maia, because I dislike him so much, I wouldn't mind breaking Neil Magny's face. I'd almost do it for free, but you shouldn't do the things you are good at for free, so I'm not going to do it for free. But I really want to break that guy's face if it can't be Maia."

Asked why he wanted Maia so badly, Masvidal said it wasn't personal but that it was all about being after his spot as the third-ranked man in the division.

"Sure, that's it, he's one of the highest ranked dudes I can get my hands on, he doesn't have a fight and nobody really wants to fight that dude because he's so good on the ground," Masvidal explained. "I do not give a f*ck--he will not take me to the ground. I will out-wrestle him from the moment it starts to the moment it finishes. For me, easy money tour, easy fight.

"If it can't be Maia and he wants to sit out and play the political thing, which I thought we were all fighters and were here to fight, then he can sit his happy ass out. I'll go and fight Magny and break his face because that dude I don't like--Magny I don't like."

Masvidal then explained his beef with Magny and said it all originated from an exchange they had previously when Masvidal spoke out about how he didn't like fighters who entered the UFC through The Ultimate Fighter series.

"He's just, man … you know, these dudes grew up watching me fight," Masvidal said. "They go into The Ultimate Fighter, win, and it eventually goes to their head. One of his [former TUF] opponents, I fought him now and I said it. I didn't disrespect anybody and I said, 'Yo, I'm here if you need a fight and I'll fight you--I'm ready to go, three weeks, four weeks, it doesn't matter to me--lets just fight.'

"He [Magny] started talking s*it, saying I lost to this and I lost to that. Long story short, he got knocked out in his next fight and I didn't and I won a couple of fights.

"Now he knows who I am--now he wants to fight me. It's like, you did know who I was, you know I'm good. You didn't want to fight me then because I wasn't popular, say the f*cking truth. Now you want to fight me? That's hoe status, and I'd love to break his face."
