ONE Championship (ONE) has announced its return to the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines, and it promises to go down with a bang.

ONE: Age of Domination is set for December 2, featuring a wealth of both international and local stars. In the main event, ONE heavyweight world champion Brandon Vera will defend his title against undefeated heavyweight Japanese star Hideki Sekine.

Victor Cui, CEO of ONE Championship, promises an action-packed event, saying the presence of Vera in the main event makes this a can't-miss fight card.  

"ONE Championship is ready for another tremendous event for fight fans in Manila," Cui said. "Filipinos are some of the most passionate people in the world, and they really love their sports.

"We have prepared a stacked card featuring a solid group of local fighters mixed in with some of the best international talents on our roster. ONE heavyweight world champion Brandon Vera is set to return to the ONE cage, and you all know that means be ready for an amazing night of action."

At 39, the Filipino-American Vera is 14-7, with one no-contest on his professional record. 

He joined ONE Championship in 2014 after competing for nearly a decade against some of the world's best fighters inside the UFC Octagon. Since coming to ONE, Vera is 2-0 with two finishes. He captured the ONE heavyweight world championship back in December 2015 when he finished the fight inside the first round with a stunning knockout of Paul Cheng. After an extended break, Vera is now back in the cage and looking for another devastating finish.

If he's to achieve that, he's going to have to hand Sekine his first loss. Sekine is unbeaten as a mixed martial artist with seven wins and no losses. He is set to make his ONE Championship debut after making a name for himself in the Japanese MMA promotion DEEP. Known for his brute strength and technical grappling ability, Sekine owns three victories by submission and another three by knockout.

He now faces the toughest battle of his career December 2 when he faces the formidable Vera.
