European Fighting Challenge (EuroFC) kicks off its inaugural event Oct. 1, and the action will be available to a global audience live on FloCombat.

European Fighting Challenge (EuroFC) kicks off its inaugural event Oct. 1, and the action will be available to a global audience live on FloCombat.

The recently signed partnership between FloCombat and EuroFC is one both sides are excited to make official. The organization's debut event will take place Oct. 1 in Finland, and EuroFC believes it will make a solid impact on the MMA world from the jump.

We have athletes from 15 different nations, and now every fan out there has a chance to see the athletes they're rooting for without any restrictions.

FloCombat was quick to recognize the potential EuroFC possessed and is looking forward to a lasting partnership.

The card for EuroFC 01 is an action-packed lineup that will feature talent from Europe and the United States. 

Headlining the event is a clash between two UFC veterans, as Tom Niinimaki (21-8-1) returns to his homeland of Finland to square off against American Johnny Bedford (22-12-1). Niinimaki has gone a decade without a defeat on his native soil, while Bedford comes into this fight off the back of three stoppage victories.

A rematch in the heavyweight ranks serves as the co-main event of the evening as Scandinavia's No. 1 ranked heavyweight Yosef Ali Mohammad (6-2) gets his chance to avenge a KO loss to Brazilian Fernando Rodrigues Jr. (9-2).

Other notable fights on the card include popular Finnish fighter Juho Valamaa (12-3) taking on his toughest challenge in former Bellator title challenge Karl Amoussou (22-7-2), UFC veteran Alan Omer (18-5) facing Japanese MMA legend Hiroyuki Takaya (21-12-2) and 23-year-old Georgi Valentinov (18-3) getting his biggest opportunity to date when he steps in against Sweden's Andreas 'Real Steal' Stahl (10-2).
