Top High Schoolers At Clarion & Southeast Opens This Weekend!

With the NCAA season officially getting underway this week, many are looking forward to the early season collegiate open tournaments for a first look at their favorite college wrestlers. However, over the last several years we have also seen some of the nation’s top high school wrestlers throw their hat in the ring to see where they stack up against college competition. This weekend, we will see many high schoolers in action at both the Clarion and Southeast Open tournaments.

The weight I’m particularly excited for is 125 pounds at the Clarion Open. With high schoolers like Jax Forrest, Marcus Blaze, and Louie Gill entering the mix in a field that includes #1 Matt Ramos, #12 Brayden Palmer, #33 Colton Camacho, and more, expect there to be fireworks. Some other guys to keep an eye on to make some noise are Bo Bassett, Ethan Birden Jr., Collin Gaj, Jaxon Joy, Melvin Miller, and Logan Paradice.

Let’s take a look at all of the high schoolers currently registered for the Clarion and Southeast Opens this weekend!
