The Ralston Arena in Omaha, Nebraska, plays host to Dynasty Combat Sports: The Warrior's Tribute this Friday, May 26, at 8 p.m. EST LIVE on FloCombat. Along with three title fights, this card also features the return of ​The Ultimate Fighter ​Season 10 competitor Abe Wagner. Here are three reasons to watch.

 

1. Heavyweight Gold up for Grabs

“Hurricane” Abe Wagner searches for his first win since 2011 when he battles Scott Hough for the heavyweight title.

Wagner (10-8-1 NC) heads into this matchup on a four-fight losing streak, with three of those losses coming by way of stoppage. The 37-year-old fighter has faced the likes of Travis Browne, former UFC champion Tim Sylvia and Bellator tournament finalist Eric Prindle throughout his career. This will be just the third fight for Wagner since 2014.

Hough (7-7), meanwhile, heads into this matchup off back-to-back victories and has battled the likes of UFC’s Timothy Johnson, Jason Brilz and Bellator’s Bobby Brents. Combined, these two heavyweights have gone the distance twice through 32 career bouts, so don’t expect this championship battle to hit the scorecards.

2. Lightweight title on the line in the Co-Main Event

Sixty-two-fight veteran Alonzo Martinez looks to make it two in a row when he takes on RFA vet Doug Jenkins.

Martinez (41-20-1) is just 33 years old and has fought Clay Guida and former UFC fighters Yves Edwards, Dustin Neace and Waylon Lowe. The Omaha native is coming off a first-round submission victory over Boimah Karmo at DCS: DC 50 back in October.

Similarly, Jenkins (13-9) heads into this matchup off two straight submission victories. The 33-year-old scrapper looks for his first three-fight win streak since 2011 and has competed against the likes of UFC standouts Mirsad Bektic and Michael McBride.

 

3. Amateur Welterweight Championship Showdown

A pair of 170-pound fighters look to inch closer to joining the pro-ranks, as Spencer Risch takes on Wayne Sullivan in a welterweight title fight.

Risch (3-3) defeated Sullivan at Victory FC 44 in December 2014 where he earned a second-round TKO finish. The 28-year-old has lost three of his last four fights and will compete for the first time this year.

Sullivan (8-4) had his three-fight winning streak snapped in his last fight after suffering a unanimous decision setback Isaac Doolittle at Victory FC: Junction City 8 in February. The Nebraska native has won seven of his eight career fights by stoppage and will look to avoid back-to-back losses for the second time in his career.
