Eddie Alvarez and Tony Ferguson just don't get along.

Last week, it was announced that Ferguson would face Rafael dos Anjos in the main event of "The Ultimate Fighter - Latin America," season three finale on November 5. Despite having his hands full with dos Anjos, Ferguson was more than happy to share his thoughts on the current lightweight champion.

"Eddie Alvarez is a little b*tch," Ferguson said. "I think he's honestly just trying to milk it for all he can. In his last fight with RDA, he did really good, but in his two previous fights, he just sandbagged it, and he didn't do sh*t. He did absolutely nothing--he's just got a smart little camp over there who know what they are doing.

"All I'm saying is, I know he's got his hands full if he fights either me or Khabib, and I know for a fact he doesn't want to fight either of us. The smartest option for him is to just go for the easiest fight, which is smart for him because it's more money."

As you can imagine, Alvarez wasn't too pleased when he heard the comments. Yesterday, the current UFC lightweight champion fired back.

"His choice of words are ironic aren't they?" Alvarez said. "He almost got knocked out by a guy who was completely unranked. That's a very weird choice of words given the performance he's just come off of.

"Hey, we live in America, though, and I guess we can say whatever we want to say, no matter how ridiculous it sounds. That's what I think about that guy and his choice of words."

Having just defeated dos Anjos himself last month at UFC Fight Night 90, Alvarez shared his thoughts on how the fight between Ferguson and the former champion, dos Anjos, would go down on November 5.

"I have no idea what sort of state of mind dos Anjos is in right now," Alvarez said. "It's always really weird to gauge a guy coming off a loss like that. I've been there myself where I've been on top and lost so I know what it's like and it's not easy. To make a quick turn around and fight again so quickly will be his biggest hurdle. I think if I just based everything on technique, I would say that Ferguson just makes way too many mistakes.

"He won't be able to compete at the highest level for a long time and I think the guys he has been fighting have been unranked opponents or have been ranked very low. I think dos Anjos beats him up and I think dos Anjos will knock Ferguson out."
