Evangelista 'Cyborg' Santos is now on the road to recovery.

The 38-year-old Brazilian was on the receiving end of a brutal flying knee knockout from Michael ‘Venom’ Page this weekend at Bellator 158 in London. Santos was rushed from the O2 Arena to a nearby hospital where X-rays revealed his skull was fractured.

For as brilliant as Page’s strike was, the damage caused was equally as terrifying. The upstart welterweight sent out multiple tweets as he kept fight fans alert on the situation Santos was facing and encouraged the fight community to donate to the GoFundMe page which was started for the injured fighter.
