Reality Fighting kicks off its New Year in style, bringing Reality Fighting 2018 live to FloCombat on Saturday, Jan. 6, at 8:30 PM ET.

The event features a stacked 11-fight pro-am card at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, capped off by a heavyweight title fight between Parker Porter and JA Dudley. 

When checking the resumes of those two, it's clear this fight is going to be an absolute banger, as they've squared off against some of the best competition on the planet. 

Porter has faced the likes of former UFC light heavyweight champion and pound-for-pound great Jon Jones and former UFC heavyweight Gabriel Gonzaga, while Dudley has thrown down against former UFC heavyweight Carmelo Marrero and Bellator/UFC fighter turned lauded Brazilian jiu-jitsu coach and competitor Tom DeBlass. 

Adding a championship strap to the mix helps intensify the heat here, and chances are all five rounds will not be necessary in this one. Porter, having last competed in 2015, when he submitted Eric Bedard at Bellator 140, is hungry to showcase his skills inside the cage once more, while Dudley is fresh off a kickboxing victory and ready to put fists and shins to face. 

Before the heavyweights take the stage at Reality Fighting 2018, red-hot light heavyweight prospect William Knight looks for his eighth consecutive victory when he takes on Franklin Johnson in a featured amateur bout. 

During Knight's current seven-fight winning streak, he's notched four knockouts, two submissions, and just one decision, making him a promising prospect to keep an eye on as he moves through the ranks. 

Should he get past Johnson at Reality Fighting 2018, there's no doubt a move into the pro realm will be hotly discussed and considered.
