Jon Jones' return to UFC glory could be short lived as the pound-for-pound great has tested positive for steroids following his UFC 214 victory over Daniel Cormier.

TMZ Sports broke the news on Monday evening and further reported the substance Jones tested positive for was Turinabol, which is an anabolic steroid. The report also stated the UFC has officially stripped Jones of the title, but ESPN's Brett Okamoto confirmed with UFC President Dana White that report to be false at the current time.

Jones' return at UFC 214 came after serving a one year ban away from the sport for previously testing positive for a banned substance he claimed was a male-enhancement pill. A second infraction could carry up to a four-year ban.

FloCombat has reached out to Jones' camp and was told a statement is soon to be issued.
