There's nothing fight fans love to see more than someone who absolutely smashes inside the cage, and Benjamin Rowland has been settling fools with abrupt violence for years.

On Saturday night, Rowland will put his power on full display once again when he takes on Ron Fields at Premier MMA Championship 4 in Cincinnati, which is streaming live on FloCombat at 7:30 EDT.

The 41-year-old Kentucky native may have gotten off to a late start in his mixed martial arts career, but Rowland has made the absolute most of each showing under the bright lights. The hard-charging heavyweight found success in all but one of his six showings in the amateur ranks. Rowland's lone setback came at the hands of highly touted heavyweight prospect Billy Swanson at Valor Fights 36 last August.

Immediately after the loss to Swanson, the ruckus-loving Rowland made his official jump to the professional ranks. And it's been a decision that's paid off with solid returns.

Rowland has won each of his two pro fights by finishing both men he has faced inside the cage. Furthermore, in addition to earning the stoppage in those bouts, Rowland put in a combined 56 seconds of work between the two.

Yet, where Rowland has seemingly been able to coast on his power and brute force inside the cage, Fields will look to put the first official blemish on his record this Saturday night.

As a veteran of more than 60 mixed martial arts tilts, Fields is by far the most experienced opponent Rowland has ever faced. Fields will also come into the tilt with a two-fight winning streak and the chance to generate some pop by knocking off one of the most promising talents in the state.

On the flip, should Rowland add Fields to his list of victims, a call from one of the larger promotions needing a big body to fill up a card may be in order.
