Yoel Romero didn't get to the top of the UFC middleweight pecking order by accident. 

The Olympic wrestler turned mixed martial artist has a knack for violence, something that becomes clear when watching his fights. 

Before he stepped into the Strikeforce cage or the UFC Octagon, however, Romero started the way all fighters do--on the regional level, trying to prove himself. 

Turns out, Romero was pretty good there too. In a video from YouTube user Sini0806, you can watch all 35 seconds of Romero's fifth professional fight--also his fifth straight knockout. 

​Fun note: ​in the comments, Truong Productions says "I think Feijo [sic] has the experience factor over Romero coming September... " Rafael Cavalcante, or "Feijao," defeated Romero via knockout, just as predicted. That stands as Romero's only loss to date. ​

Now, Romero sets his sights on Robert Whittaker. The two top UFC middleweights clash Saturday, July 8, at UFC 213 in Las Vegas for the interim middleweight championship.
