Aaron Pico will make the first walk of his professional MMA career to face Zach Freeman this Saturday night at Bellator NYC in New York City. With a strong list of wrestling and boxing credentials to his credit, the California native's arrival to the cage comes equipped with heavy buzz as the 20-year-old is figured to be something special from the jump.

That would be a tall amount of pressure for any young talent to handle, but expectation of MMA greatness nearly seems old hat for Pico. And the reason for this strange wave is Pico's projected arrival has been years in the making.

His talents on the wrestling mats have been well documented just as his success in the boxing realm has been noted as well. Pico's mystique has grown tremendously in the process as he's collected one big endorsement after the next from the biggest names in UFC and Bellator alike.
