Warfare MMA 15 took over Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Saturday, May 6, on FloCombat, bringing a stacked card of title fights, local favorites, and rising prospects to viewers in the Palmetto State and beyond.

In the main event, veteran BJJ black belts Derrick Kennington and Wesley Golden squared off, with Golden getting the upper hand early and often. Utilizing a smart, calculated approach, Golden was able to dictate the pace and stay one step ahead of his opponent throughout the three-round bout.

While Kennington threatened with a deep armbar early in Round 3, Golden escaped and continued to pound away from top position, riding out the fight to the final bell.

Also on the pro side of things, local favorite Amos Collins dominated Eric Calderon en-route to a second-round TKO, securing takedown after takedown and battering his foe with vicious ground-and-pound until the referee saw enough and halted the contest.

While on most fight cards, the undercard is skippable or simply entertaining at best, Warfare MMA 15 stacked the deck with its amateur bouts, showcasing a host of the nation's top prospects. In the amateur main event, Kenny Porter and Charleston Pou threw down in an epic back-and-forth scrap right up to the final bell, bringing the crowd inside the House of Blues to its feet on multiple occasions.

Also of note was undefeated 19-year-old Hannah Scoggins' third scrap against the tough and powerful LaNeisha Vinson. Wife to the UFC's Justin Scoggins, many see Hannah as a prospect to watch moving forward, and she proved why at Warfare MMA 15.

Controlling the action with precise, straight punches and kicks and a swift ground game, Scoggins defeated Vinson unanimously on the scorecards. Even better for those keeping tabs on the young strawweight, Vinson was game, catching Scoggins at times with powerful counters and standing up to every attack thrown her way. But Scoggins never backed down or appeared hurt, displaying some toughness to go with her well-rounded offensive skill set.
