Bellator are set to take over Belfast, Northern Ireland later this month, but plans are already being put in place for their return to the England.

The promotion announced earlier today that a press conference will be held in London next week announcing an event in the English capital city in May, and a whole host of Bellator MMA fighters on the card will be in attendance.

Sources close to FloCombat have revealed a blockbuster "Battle of Britain" welterweight clash is being targeted for the card with Michael Page (12-0) set to take on Paul Daley (39-14-2) in what would be one of the biggest all-British MMA fights of all time held on home soil.

The 29-year-old Page is unbeaten as a professional and has seven straight victories under the Bellator banner. His last appearance in London resulted in one of the most shocking moments of 2016 when a flying on knee from Page crushed the skull of on his opponent Evangelista 'Cyborg' Santos.

Following that devastating victory over Santos, Page went on to defeat Fernando Gonzalez at Bellator 165 via split decision in November. With the public now calling for him to face stiffer competition, that wish appears to have been granted. 

Page is set to take on Daley at the SSE Arena in London, England in May pending contracts being signed.

Daley would enter the fight the vastly more experienced man with a staggering 43-fight advantage on the professional bout front. "Semtex" has won six of his last seven fights with his sole loss against the current champion Douglas Lima back at Bellator 158 in July.

Daley's most recent outing in the cage came at Bellator 170 in January when he scored a stunning flying knee KO over Brennan Ward after just two minutes and twenty-seven seconds of their co-main event contest.

Social media would suggest that Page is the keener of the two to put pen to paper and he's waiting on Daley to confirm the all-British showdown in London.
