Caged Madness 44: 3 Reasons to Watch on FloCombat
Ohio MMA's brightest prospects take the stage live on FloCombat Saturday, July 30, at 7 p.m. EST for Caged Madness 44.

This latest event from Explosive Fight Promotions promises an evening of furious action inside Akron's Tadmor Shrine, boasting a lineup that is equally enticing now and looking forward.

These fighters are hungry, and viewers can expect them to bring the heat early and often. Here are the three primary reasons to log into your FloPro account Saturday, July 30, and catch Caged Madness 44.

1. It's in his blood

Austin Meese is one of the most talked-about regional prospects, and for good reason. Cousin to UFC star Cody Garbrandt, Meese has received a lifetime of high-quality training and wisdom from his fighting family.

Working closely with Garbrandt at Team Alpha Male, Meese shows massive improvements every time he steps into the cage. His Caged Madness 44 main event against J'Mar Moore could very well serve as his breakout fight.

Oh, yeah, and this happened in his last fight. Yikes.

2. Ohio MMA--need we say more?

Ohio's MMA scene is absolutely bonkers.

Fighters such as UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic, Garbrandt, Matt Brown, Jessica Eye, and dozens of others have emerged from the Buckeye State and pieced together illustrious careers inside the cage.

With top training centers at their disposal and an inherent fighter's mentality, regional Ohio fighters simply come to fight--at an incredibly high level--time and again. Caged Madness 44 will be no different.

3. We heard you like finishes…

The last time Caged Madness invaded the Tadmor Shrine, 26 fighters entered the cage--and 13 were finished.

That's right, friends: Literally every fight ended before the final bell at that show. The judges took the night off, and that was just fine. Even better, the finishes boasted as perfect a split as possible, with seven submissions and six knockouts in 13 bouts. One fight even ended via omoplata.

That's the kind of madness we can get behind. That's why we're bringing it to you right here Saturday evening. See you there.
