Tennessee’s premier mixed martial arts promotion, Valor Fights, will return to action on Saturday for Valor Fights 35.

Taking place at the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray, Tennessee, the pro-am card promises to bring the heat from top to bottom. If you’ve already booked your tickets to the event, you’re in for a good one, but if you can’t make it to the Appalachian Fairgrounds, we’ve got you covered.

Beginning at 5:00PM EST, FloCombat will stream Valor Fights 35 in its entirety. Just log in to your FloPro account, crack open your beverage of choice, sit back, and enjoy the fights. Here are three reasons to tune in Saturday.

1. The next generation

Valor Fights 35 features a stacked amateur card, bringing everything from flyweights to heavyweights.

These are the fighters to keep an eye on. While many may never ascend to the top of the sport, it’s always interesting to track particular amateur fighters who show promise by putting together lengthy winning streaks.

But Doug Williams, who will face Nick Baker at Valor Fights 35, could be one of the fighters who go all the way. He’s 7-4 as an amateur, but he’s rapidly piecing together his game, and won six straight over increasingly tough competition. With a win over Baker at Valor Fights 35, he could be ready to take the leap in his career and test his skills at the pro level.

2. Undefeated pros collide

Jonathan Pearce vs. Lance Lawrence is all kinds of fun. This pro featherweight title features two of the area’s most highly touted combatants, and somebody will take his first loss Saturday evening.

At 4-0, Pearce—who they call “JSP”—is a ferocious wrestler with vicious ground-and-pound. He’s won three out of his four bouts via TKO. Lawrence will not go quietly, though. While he boasts less experience than JSP at 1-0, Lawrence went 8-0 as an amateur, and he’s already ranked No. 3 in the state of Kentucky at lightweight.

Whoever emerges victorious in this one will catapult up the rankings and prove himself ready for the next challenge—possibly under brighter lights and on a bigger stage.

3. Valor Fights brings the fire

Every Valor Fights card featured on FloCombat thus far has delivered, and Valor Fights 35 will be no different. At the regional MMA level, fighters are hungry and determined, but they’re also excited to get out and showcase their skills in front of friends and family. The result is often pure excitement.

On the flipside, one loss can completely derail a promising amateur’s or an upstart pro’s career, so every fight truly matters to these competitors. That urgency shows in the fights. We’ve seen some of the year’s most entertaining back-and- forth scraps under the Valor Fights banner, as well as brutal knockouts and savvy submissions. There’s a little bit of everything with these regional MMA events, and it’s a lock that something will happen that’ll make you spill your drink in excitement.

Don’t miss it. Tune in to FloCombat Saturday at 5:00 p.m. EST to catch Valor Fights 35.
