Kickboxing and MMA will unite under one roof Friday, June 17, when Xtreme Fighting League's "Xtreme Fight Night 29" takes over the Event Center at River Spirit Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The brainchild of world champion combat sports legend Dale "Apollo" Cook, Xtreme Fight Night convenes some of the best talent from around the world to throw fists, knees, shins, and elbows inside the cage.

At Xtreme Fight Night 29, fans will be treated to two title fights—one for kickboxing and one for MMA—a rare super heavyweight scrap, and more. If you can't make it to the River Spirit Casino to catch the action in-person and up-close, FloCombat has you covered.

We're streaming all the action live Friday, beginning at 9 p.m. EST. Here are three reasons to pull up a chair, log into your FloPro account, and get down with Xtreme Fight Night 29.

1. World-class main event

In the Xtreme Fight Night 29 main event, XFL and ISKA world kickboxing champion Randy "Boom Boom" Blake (35-4) will face ISKA British heavyweight champ Aundre "Firewalker" Groce (12-3).

Their records alone merit your attention, but closer inspection reveals an even more tantalizing bout. Blake has competed against the world's best under the K-1 and Glory banners, and famously dropped a razor-thin majority decision to Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic during the 2012 K-1 World Grand Prix. In that bout, Blake planted Cro Cop to the canvas with a right hand, but was unable to secure the victory.

Now, he's turning his attention to Groce for his XFL title defense Friday. A Muay Thai stylist and the current British heavyweight champ, Groce is looking forward to spoiling Blake's current five-fight winning streak.

"I have nothing to lose and the world to gain," Groce said of the bout. "All the pressure is on him."

Tune in Friday to see whose skills triumph inside the cage.

2. A settled score—with gold on the line

The night's MMA main event serves as a rematch, but this time, the stakes are higher. Mark Barrett (8-4-1) will face Alberto Mendoza (7-6-1) for the vacant XFL featherweight title. Take particular notice of those "1s" on their records—the two fought in a five-round bout under the XFL banner in 2014 that ended in a draw.

One man will separate himself as the other's superior on Friday night and take home a shiny piece of hardware in the process.

3. Big dudes, little cage

XFL's 26-foot cage will be crowded Friday when super heavyweights Chris Alcorn (2-1) and Chad Chestnut (4-2) throw down in a kickboxing fight.

The effects of a smaller cage are directly observable in the UFC. When the promotion opts for the 25-foot cage instead of the full-size 30-footer, more finishes follow—it's been noted by Fightnomics author Reed Kuhn. The effects aren't exclusive to the UFC, though. When fighters square off in a smaller cage, they're forced to engage more, which results in a higher likelihood of a finish.

In this Alcorn vs. Chestnut fight, we'll have two men north of 265 pounds in each other's faces until somebody falls down—it's bound for some drama.

Be sure to tune in live Friday at 9 p.m. EST right here on FloCombat to see how the 12-fight card shakes out in Tulsa.
