Miesha Tate: Ronda Rousey Cussed out Paige VanZant Over Tweet
Miesha Tate knows a thing or two about being on Ronda Rousey’s bad side, and apparently Paige VanZant does now as well.

The darling of the women’s strawweight division and current sensation on Dancing With the Stars was allegedly the target of the “Rowdy” one’s wrath when the two crossed paths during a photoshoot for Reebok.

Rousey snapped out on VanZant for a tweet the 115-pound scrapper sent out to congratulate Holly Holm after the Albuquerque native dusted the former Olympian at UFC 193 last November.  All VanZant wanted was a picture, but instead received Rousey’s scorn and a few expletives to take home with her.

The interaction was so nasty VanZant shared it with Tate, who in turn let the world know all about it during her visit to the Joe Rogan Experience.  “Cupcake” ran back the story to Rogan in what could only be an effort to highlight a side of the ESPY winner she’s been familiar with since their rivalry began back in Strikeforce.

“[Paige] was trying to get a picture with Ronda and the Reebok people told her to stay away from her,” Tate said. “I guess later that day Ronda came and seeked [sic] her out. She just like cussed her out. They’d never had a conversation before that.

“Ronda came up to her and was like, ‘F*** you you fairweather b*tch. How dare you cross me? You congratulated Holly Holm for beating me so f*** you you fairweather 115-pound *****. She went off on Paige and Paige came and told me and I’m like, ‘Honey, welcome to my world.’”

While VanZant’s experience is jarring it's certainly true as she confirmed the story to TMZ on Thursday.

It’s no secret Rousey didn’t handle handle things well in the wake of the first setback of her professional career.

The former champion went into hiding from the media, then told Ellen Degeneres she had thoughts of suicide in the immediate aftermath, which gave a brief yet disturbing look into her state of mind after losing the title she coveted.

While Tate may be the current title holder in the women’s 135-pound division, she’s been taking shots from Rousey--verbal and otherwise--for the majority of her time fighting in the UFC. But now there is a new queen of the bantamweight division, and Tate isn’t going to pass up a chance to throw some shade in Rousey’s direction any time the opportunity presents itself.
