They call Amanda Leve the "biggest prospect in women's MMA" and for good reason. 

The 20-year-old Brazilian jiu-jitsu wizard is a force on the mats, leaving a trail of bodies across her native East Coast. Trained in the famed Ricardo Almeida Academy in Robbinsville, NJ, Leve snatches arms, legs, and necks at will, overwhelming opponents with an approach that is equal parts technical and aggressive. 

Due to her success on the mats, MMA fans have anxiously awaited the MMA debut of the BJJ prodigy, and that time is finally here. 

Leve will compete Friday, Sept. 8, at Triton Fights 4 in Westbury, NY, live on FloCombat.

Perhaps most impressively, Leve competed as a teenager against UFC women's bantamweight contender Cat Zingano in 2014 and gave her much older and more experienced foe all she could handle for the bout's duration.

Being a fierce competitor and a veteran of the East Coast grappling circuit, however, Leve does have considerable experience to draw upon for his first foray into MMA.
