Matt Mitrione: 'I Will Beat The F*cking Brakes Off Brock Lesnar'
The outspoken Bellator heavyweight has taken many topics to task over the course of his career, including the battle to increase fighter pay and the need for the Ali Act to be adopted in mixed martial arts. That said, "Meathead" also throws heat when the cage door closes, and his most recent victim was none other than the legendary Fedor Emelianenko at Bellator NYC back in June.
Mitrione scored a first-round knockout over "The Last Emperor," which bolstered the Indiana-based fighter's current run to three straight victories since leaving the UFC for Bellator. The former NFL player turned mixed martial artist's confidence in his game has never been higher, and he's currently open to all challengers. In a recent interview with Pat McAfee on Barstool Sports Heartland, Mitrione took aim at former UFC heavyweight champion and current WWE superstar Brock Lesnar.
"I would beat the f*cking brakes off Brock Lesnar," Mitrione said. "There is no question about this whatsoever. He would never fight me... never. He would fight Jon Jones because he would think he can take Jon Jones down. He would never fight me. I've been asking to fight Brock Lesnar since the day I went on 'The Ultimate Fighter.'
"If you think that dude is an athlete, go suck a d*ck. That dude is not an athlete. He's a giant body."
