Tywan Claxton Calls For Aaron Pico
Undefeated mega prospect Tywan Claxton is moving on to Bellator MMA.

The 7-0 (amateur) made the announcement Thursday afternoon in a hilarious video via Bellator's Twitter page.

With no pro fights to his name, Claxton has already established himself as a seasoned veteran in the art of promotion, something that will serve him well moving forward. In recent weeks, he's fixed his sights on Bellator super prospect Aaron Pico, who lost his own pro debut to Zach Freeman in under 30 seconds at Bellator NYC on June 24.

Claxton, not a fan of the hype-train mentality, has ruthlessly called out Pico since that fight.

"One, I got beaters, and he has no chin," Claxton told FloCombat earlier this month. "So if I touch him one time, it's over. It's not a matter of 'if' I touch him. It's 'when' I touch him. That's a fight that I can go out there and try new moves. That's like a little brother fight. I can put my hand on his head and let him swing a couple times and touch him on the chin...

"Even the guy who beat Pico [Freeman], hell, if you want to throw me on the main card, I will starch his ass in less than 24 seconds. I'll starch the guy that beat Pico. I'll make my pro debut against a guy that's 10-2, 10-3, whatever that guy's record is. I'm not worried about it.."

For now, Claxton does not have a debut opponent or date set, but you just get the feeling a showdown with Pico is coming at some point -- if not out the gate.
