#1 - Dontale Mayes (3-1)

Mayes has looked sensational in his MMA career so far with an 8-0 record as an amateur and an impressive 3-1 record as a professional. The lone loss on Mayes' record was DQ due to an illegal elbow in a fight he was arguably winning at RFA 46 this past December. At 6'6" with an 81.5-inch reach, the hulking 25-year-old fighter has stopped three of his four opponents. The Indiana native has a tremendous opportunity to prove his top billing Aug. 29 when he takes on Allen Crowder.

#2 -- Adam Dyczka (5-0)

The "Kung Fu Panda" has emerged as one of the best prospects in Canada and is a cornerstone fighter for the Montreal-based TKO MMA promotion. Going 5-0 as an amateur, the 26-year-old has yet to taste defeat in his young career and has won all of his professional bouts by TKO. Dyczka will look for his third straight win this year as he tangles with French fighter Oulmoudéné Najebe Sept. 8.

#3 -- Kyle Noblitt (8-0)

Since his professional debut in 2015, Noblitt has risen to become one of the top heavyweight prospects in the Midwest MMA scene. The 27-year-old boasts three wins by knockout along with three submission victories. He went the distance for the first time in his career in his last outing, earning a unanimous decision nod over 41-fight veteran Robert Morrow at Carden Combat Sports 1 in April.

#4 -- Tanner Boser (12-4)

The Canadian heavyweight could have easily risen to the top of this list and appeared to be on the verge of a UFC contract late last year. However, back-to-back losses against Mukhomad Vakhaev and Denis Smoldarev this year in ACB have set "Bulldozer" back. Boser owns eight stoppage victories in his career and holds notable wins over the late Tim Hague and longtime MMA veterans Tony Lopez and Joey Yager.

#5 -- Everett Sims (4-0)

American Top Team product Everett Sims has finished all four of his opponents and has yet to leave the first round in his professional career. Perhaps the only knock on the 27-year-old is his level of competition, as his opponents have a combined record of 6-5. He'll have all the opportunity to prove his critics wrong Aug. 8 as he battles Shelton Graves (6-3) at Dana White's Contender Series 5.
