Juicy Beef: Chris Weidman, Michael Bisping Trade Haymakers On Twitter
UFC middleweights Chris Weidman and Michael Bisping don't like each other.

At least, our extensive analysis of the current Twitter beef leads us to that conclusion. Call us crazy, but stuff like this:

...and this:

...doesn't exactly scream "friendly."

Bisping, the current UFC middleweight champion, is a pound-for-pound king of the trash talk game, so it was a little surprising when Weidman -- normally a quieter type -- engaged in a full-on tweet war with the brash Brit.

It was perhaps even more surprising when Weidman held his own. Coming off a big victory over Kelvin Gastelum at UFC Long Island to snap a three-fight losing streak, Weidman was clearly feelin' good as he let his thumbs fly with reckless abandon into the Twitterverse.

If the early barbs weren't enough, Weidman done went and made things personal, going straight for the eyes -- Bisping's badly injured eye, to be exact.

To be fair, Bisping went the personal route in return. Famously accompanying his son to the cage, Weidman's dad is a bit of a hero in MMA circles, making the now-infamous "He's still my boy!" speech after Weidman lost the middleweight title to Luke Rockhold at UFC 194.

Weidman's father also popped up following UFC Long Island, and Bisping clearly wasn't a fan.

Weidman, however, wasn't going to let that one go, either, and he fired back quickly with another shot at Bisping's optical woes.

Of course, Bisping probably won't fight Weidman next, but a good old-fashioned Twitter beef is tasty all the same.

Right now, Bisping holds the title, and Robert Whittaker holds the interim strap, pointing toward a showdown at some point. However, Whittaker is likely sidelined until 2018, and Yoel Romero has his own beef with Bisping, making for a potentially interesting and fun-filled matchup of its own.

With Weidman going 1-3 in his last four, a fight with Bisping might be a tougher sell, but he's certainly doing his part to generate interest, a point evidenced in full 140 characters at a time.
