Lord chaos has upped the game at Bellator NYC. 

One fight after Michael Chandler lost his Bellator lightweight title via injury (doctor's stoppage), legendary heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko squared off with Matt Mitrione. 

A double knockdown soon followed. 

Emelianenko and Mitrione landed massive shots simultaneously, each crashing to the mat. Mitrione, however, recovered faster, and he pounced on the dazed Russian, landing a follow up right hand that official shut out the lights. 

In his post-fight speech, Mitrione verbalized the madness. 

"I looked up, and I was like, 'Oh shit! He's on the ground!" Mitrione said. 

With the victory, Mitrione has won three straight inside the Bellator cage, all via knockout. 

Emelianenko, meanwhile, snaps a five-fight winning streak, moving his overall record to 36-5 (1).
