3 Reasons To Watch Conquer FC 4
One of the fastest rising promotions in the Golden State returns with an action-packed card as Conquer 4 hits Craneway Pavillion South on Saturday night live and exclusively on FloCombat. The upstart organization has quickly made a name for itself by putting on exciting fights showcasing rising talent and veterans alike and Conquer 4 will be no different.

Undefeated Prospects Collide

Someone's "0" has to go is a popular saying in the fight game, and anytime two rising talents step in to do battle there's a chance for something special to happen. Undefeated middleweights Joseph Kropschot and Joseph Cardoso will throw hands and feet with the worst of intentions at Conquer 4, with the winner taking one step closer to competing on bigger stages.

Kropschot has found success in all three of his outings as an amateur with two of those victories coming by way of stoppage. The only fighter to make it to the final bell against Kropschot was Diego Lopez at Conquer 3 back in March, yet the Team Black representative was still able to dominate the action throughout.

Cardoso has notched one more victory than his upcoming opponent and finished his fights at a similar rate. All but one of Cardoso's wins have come by way of the finish, which sets the stage for a potential banger on Saturday night. You throw in Conquer's 185-pound strap and the fight between Kropschot and Cardoso has all the makings for something memorable.

Heavyweight Gold and Fisticuffs

Anytime there is a championship belt on the line the stakes rise significantly and there's nothing more Dwight Maters and Matt Zonfrello want nothing more than to claim gold on Saturday night.

"Akuma" Maters will come into the tilt with a touch of momentum as he earned a victory over Dyllan Snavely via split decision back in March. The bout was a rematch from their first go back in December in a fight where Maters suffered the first loss of his amateur career. Maters was able to get sweet revenge in the run back three months later, but a cancellation in his next scheduled tilt put any steam he'd built up on hold for the time being.

He'll have the opportunity to make a push toward bigger things on Saturday night when he squares off with Zonfrello.

"The King of the North" will enter the bout with Maters on a similar trajectory. While Zonfrello suffered a loss in his amateur debut last August, the California native has notched back-to-back victories, one of which came by way of first round knockout back in January. Zonfrello picked up a unanimous decision win in his next outing three months later, and will be looking to keep his momentum building at Conquer 4.

A Bellator Veteran Working His Way Back

There's no shortage of experience where Shawn Bunch is concerned.

The former wrestling standout turned mixed martial artist has competed on wrestling mats and inside cages all across the country and has been building serious steam to return to the bigger stages in the near future.

The American Kickboxing Academy representative started his career fighting under the Bellator banner where "The Great" found success in all but one of his first five showings. An eventual rough skid would push Bunch back to the regional scene, but back-to-back victories have things looking up for Bunch once more.

He will face fellow prospect Rodrigo Lima on Saturday night at Conquer FC 4, and a win over the scrappy Brazilian could very well take Bunch back to the big show.

One More Thing….

Fard Muhammad also fights on Saturday night and you just never know what to expect anytime that man steps into the cage to do his thing. The only guarantees in a Muhammad fight are intensity and ruckus.

Plenty of ruckus.
