Clay Wimer's Slick Ground Game Shines At Legion Combat 25
The sun was setting in the Nebraska skies by the time Mitch Peterson and Clay Wimer stepped in to handle their business in the main event at Legion Combat 25 on Saturday night.

Both fighters came into the tilt looking to turn things around in a big way, and what better place to make that stand than a showcase fight on FloCombat? And while it seemed as if the hometown fighter in Peterson was on his way to victory with a huge right hand that dropped Wimer, the Colorado-based fighter bounced back strong.

Wimer’s slick ground game created an opening that allowed him to latch onto Peterson’s neck and get to work. After a bit of positioning, Wimer locked his hands and forced the tap with a fight-ending bulldog choke.
