KOP 56 takes place at the Deltaplex Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan Saturday night (June 17th, 2017) at 7 p.m. EST live on FloCombat.  Knockout Promotions features some of the best talent out of Michigan and this card features a number of fighters at the prestigious Michigan Top Team camp. Here are three reasons to watch.

Bazzi looks for another beatdown

Headlining the card is Michigan Top Team bantamweight Jesse Bazzi who looks for his third win his last four fights when he battles Shawn Rosencrans. Bazzi (6-2) is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Cee Jay Hamilton at LFA 8, which snapped at two-fight win streak. The 25-year old moves back up to the bantamweight division, where he remains undefeated. Bazzi is perhaps best known for handing Jared Scoggins (UFC standout Justin Scoggins brother) the first loss of his career when he did so back in February at WXC 67.

Rosencrans (3-2) has also won three of his last four fights and replaces the injured Shawn Mack in this contest. The 23-year-old heads into this matchup off a unanimous decision victory over Anthony Mychael at KOP 55.

The Prodigy looks to overrule Brewer

In the co-main event Devin "The Prodigy" Smyth looks for his fifth-straight win when he takes on Ben "The Rules" Brewer. Smyth (4-1) heads into this contest on a four-fight win streak, including three wins by submission. The 21-year-old Murcielago MMA product has only gone the distance twice in his career and will be looking for yet another stoppage victory.

Brewer (11-6) is in dire need of a win after losing three-straight fights, including a submission loss to UFC welterweight Randy Brown at Ring of Combat 52. The Evolution MMA standout looks to find the form that saw him win seven fights in a row from 2013 to 2014.

Shatri looks to stop "The Boss"

29-year old Moe Shatri battles Kenneth "The Boss" Cross in a lightweight affair. Shatri (4-2) is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Jake May at WXC 67 in February, which was his second win in his last three fights. The Michigan Top Team standout, who works in the finance industry by day, looks for his first two-fight win streak since 2015. Cross (3-1) is coming off the first loss of his career as he was submitted in the first-round at KOP 54 in March. The Triumph MMA product had won all of his fights by stoppage and has yet to leave the first round in his career.
