UFC Fight Night London takes place on March 18 and the card is seemingly being stacked high with local British talent.

Sources close to the bout FloCombat have confirmed a middleweight contest featuring Nigerian-American Oluwale Bamgbose (6-2) and Tom Breese (10-1) will be on the card.

Breese was last in action back in June when he took on Sean Strickland in Inglewood, California at UFC 199. Unfortunately, that evening Breese was on the wrong end of a tight split decision and suffered the first loss of his career. Shortly after the fight, Breese decided to move back home to Birmingham, England and to make the move up to middleweight where he believes he will be fighting at a more natural weight and not expending as much energy during fight week focusing on his weight cut.

Prior to his loss to Strickland, Breese had been making a big impact in the UFC. Breese made an impressive debut by defeating Luiz Dutra Jr in May, 2015 then went on to score dominant wins over the likes of Cathal Pendred and Keita Nakamura respectively.

If Breese is to get back on track this March, he must overcome a sizeable middleweight opponent in the form of the man they call the “The Holy War Angel”.

Bamgbose is 1-2 since entering the UFC and was last in action at UFC on Fox 19 where he lost a unanimous decision to Cezar Ferreira.

Prior to that, Bamgbose’s sole UFC win came against Daniel Sarafian at UFC Fight Night 83 when he finished his opponent in just 60-seconds with a vicious knockout.

Bamgbose was expected to face Josh Samman on December 9, 2016 at UFC Fight Night 102, however, the fight never took place after Samman passed away on October 5, 2016. Bamgbose was then rescheduled to face Joe Gigliotti at the event in Albany, however the Nigerian-American pulled from the fight citing injury.

Both fighters will be eager to impress at the 02 Arena in March, and the man who has his hand raised will likely take a big step forward to entering the top 15 rankings.
