Skinny G Podcast - Episode 1: Mike Perry Reflects on First Career Loss

If you thought one defeat was going to stop UFC welterweight Mike Perry, you better think again.

Perry was defeated by Alan Jouban at UFC on Fox 22 via unanimous decision in what was the first loss of his professional career. While some fighters have taken their first defeat badly and shied away from owning up to their shortcomings, the American has taken a very different approach, instead analyzing his performance in detail.

Speaking to FloCombat's Jim Edwards on the first episode of his new interview podcast series, "Skinny G Podcast," Perry broke down the action from his perspective and described where he believed he came up short on Saturday night.

Perry then spoke about wanting to get straight back into the Octagon at the first available opportunity, what he made of Jouban's reaction to his pre-fight trash talk, his desire to renegotiate a new contract with the UFC and also potential opponents for his next fight.

Perry signed off the only way he knows how--by sending out a clear message to the rest of the UFC welterweight division and his next opponent.

"Whoever the next guy is--I'm going to terrorize the man."
