While most people are understandably excited about the Cody Garbrandt versus Dominick Cruz UFC bantamweight title fight booked for UFC 207, one man certainly isn't--T.J. Dillashaw.  

Dillashaw dropped his belt to Cruz earlier this year in January having lost a narrow decision victory in a fight that many people thought he'd won. Having then bounced with an impressive win over Raphael Assunção at UFC 200, the former bantamweight champion thought he'd done enough to get his rematch.

Unfortunately for Dillashaw, he will have to wait a little longer for his shot and he now finds himself in the awkward position of deciding whether to take another fight or to wait around for the winner of the title fight in December.

"I got nothing against Cody Garbrandt, of course he should push for a title shot," Dillashaw told Glory World Series. "It's what we should all be doing. It's Cruz, he's the one making the decision and the UFC let him do it. Whatever it is, it doesn't make sense to me that I'm not getting the title shot, but I'll get my belt back eventually."

Dillashaw then explained exactly what he believed Cruz was doing as the champion and suggested that he was avoiding him at all costs.

"I feel like he's coasting right now," Dillashaw said. "He's being a prima donna champ, and he's picking the fights that he wants. It's not a sport anymore, and there's no point of rankings. We went to a close split decision, and it was controversial in most people's eyes. All the people I talk to say I won the fight, and I do so myself.

"All I want is the chance to prove that I won that fight. I met with the head of the UFC and they told me that they thought I'd won it. I thought that would be enough to get the rematch, but it's not about who the best is in the sport anymore. It's about who can talk the most trash and what's going to the best for the company."

The former UFC bantamweight champion then detailed exactly how he'd be proceeding with his own career and said that he'd just keep doing what he'd always been doing.

"I'm just going to have to keep doing what I'm doing and kick people's butt and not worry about who I'm fighting anymore," Dillashaw said. "I'll knock everyone out of the way until he can't deny me anymore.

"I'm tired of Cruz running. I tried betting my purse--I bet $100,000K that I'd beat Cruz in a rematch and he didn't even acknowledge the bet. He knows he doesn't want to fight me and he just wants to retire on top and be a commentator. It's just a bunch of politics--he's a politician and it's got me heated."
